I've been pretty busy this summer with my part-time job and trying to work at the studio, so I haven't had a lot of time to post anything new. I probably wont have a lot of time to post mush this year because I will be attending the Craft College this year for my Graduates Studies but I will try my best.
This Summer I have done a traditional pit firing for the first time by myself and everything worked out perfectly. I will post photos of the work real soon. I will be doing another pit firing next month with the class I teach (traditional pottery) i will definitively take some videos of the process. Last week we dug up clay from the Saint john river and next week I'm going to show them how to clean the clay and what to add to it, to make it workable. I'm pretty pumped about that and I hope everything works out great.
